VIVIEN DAVIES

BIOGRAPHY:
Vivien started her career with the Arena Theatre in Melbourne,
then did the VCA drama course. She joined the Melbourne Theatre
Company in the role of Mary Mooney in Once A Catholic.
Vivien stayed with MTC for a number of years playing Nora
in The Doll's House, Polly/Lily in The Man from
Muckinupin. Other plays included Hobson's Choice,
The Rivals, On Our Selection, Macbeth
and The Matchmaker and for the Queensland Theatre Company,
The Playboy of the Western World. Her first musical
was the original Australian production of Les Miserables.
This was followed by the revival of Hair and then Scrooge
in Melbourne and England. On her return to Australia she did
The Dusty Springfield Story in Melbourne and Shakespeare
Without Tears for Bookworm Theatre Company's literacy
programme. She is delighted to be part of the 10th Anniversary
Production of Les Miserables.
RECENT PROJECTS:
After leaving Les Mis, Vivien joined the tour of Boy
From Oz. Since June 2000, she has been touring with Buddy
the Musical as Miss Santiago.
