BIOGRAPHY:
Brendan took inspiration from the original production of
Les Miserables when he saw it at the age of 17. He
studied at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts
from 1991 to 1994, performing in the Australian premieres
of The Bridge and The Betrothed, and among others
The Cradle Will Rock and the role of the Baker in Sondheim's
Into the Woods. He sang the title role in The Marriage
of Figaro with the WA Conservatorium and with the West
Australian Opera Company performed in Carmen, Orpheus
in the Underworld and The Magic Flute. In 1995
Brendan toured to Chiang Mai, Thailand to perforrn in the
Gordon Frost organisation's production of Grease. Last
year he was very pleased to be part of the adventure that
was the international Tour of Les Miserables through
Asia and to Cape Town, South Africa.
RECENT PROJECTS:
Brendan has toured with his own cabaret show, appeared in
the made for television movie of South Pacific with
Glenn Close, and is currently appearing in Singin In The
Rain.
