AMANDA HARRISON Female Ensemble Eponine understudy

BIOGRAPHY:

At eighteen, Amanda made her professional stage debut in the role of Jenny in the 1992/93 Australian production of Aspects of Love directed by Gale Edwards.
Amanda has been involved with rock, dance and variety groups, including Mo Award nominees Stairways to the Stars. In 1993 she toured with a group to Bali to perform in Starstruck, a collection of musical memories from stage and screen for the annual AMP Conference Gala Dinner. In 1996/97 Amanda appeared for thirteen months as Constance in Firefly at the Reef Hotel Casino, Cairns.
On completion of this engagement, Amanda commenced a three year Musical Theatre course at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth. Shortly after the course commenced Amanda was offered the role of Betty Shaeffer in Sunset Boulevard, which she played for the final months of the show in Melbourne. Amanda is very excited to he part of the 10th Anniversary cast of Les Miserables.

RECENT PROJECTS:

Amanda appeared in the one woman show Journey Girl, toured with Boy From Oz as Liza Minelli, and is currently appearing on the West End in the role of Ali and as understudy Sophie in Mamma Mia.
