BIOGRAPHY:
Donna's theatre career began at the age of nine when she
appeared in J.C Williamson's production of Noel Coward's
Sail Away, followed by their revival of Annie Get Your
Gun. She has since appeared in numerous productions such
as Fiddler on the Roof, Gypsy, Jesus Christ
Superstar, Showboat, They're Playing Our Song,
Snoopy the Musical, Dames at Sea, Summer
Rain, Stepping Out, Forbidden Broadway,
Nunsense II, Hello Dolly, Anything Goes,
and of course Oklahoma! for which she won a Green Room
Award for her portrayal of Ado Annie. Donna is also a very
established Cabaret performer (being the recipient of two
Mo Awards) and is seen regularly on Good Morning Australia
with Bert Newton. Donna admits that her first love is theatre,
especially Music Theatre, and particularly enjoyed playing
the role of Madame Thenardier on the 1996 Les Miseables
Asia and South African tour. Donna is delighted to be playing
avaricious Madame 'T' once again. Donna's recordings include
Donna - You're Gonna Hear From Me with Tommy Tycho
and his 37-piece International Orchestra, and Donna - Live
at the School of Arts - Legend Series.
RECENT PROJECTS:
Donna is currently touring with her show A Tribute to
Doris Day.
