NATALIE JACKSON MENDOZA

BIOGRAPHY:
Natalie has enjoyed performing since the age of five. Her
most recent musical theatre performance was as the Frug Girl
in the Sydney season of Sweet Charity. Prior to that
Natalie had the wonderful experience of touring Australia,
New Zealand and Asia in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber
with Sarah Brightman and Anthony Warlow. Natalie completed
one year performing as an original cast member of the Australian
premiere of Cameron Mackintosh's Miss Saigon at Sydney's
Capitol Theatre playing the role of Mimi and understudying
the role of Kim. Natalie also featured in the Australian/Asian
tours of Cats. She has appeared in concerts for the
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and proudly performs regularly
with her much loved and respected father, jazz composer, arranger
and pianist Noel Mendoza. Her promotional work includes the
Australian/Japanese Dance Tour, fashion parades, The 1994
People's Choice Awards and the 1995 TV Week Logie Awards.
She has appeared in numerous commercials and was also featured
in the ABC nine-part mini series Dancin' Daze and in
a guest role on Wildside. Natalie appeared as a special
guest in the recent David Campbell concerts at the Theatre
Royal in Sydney. She has recently released her single, 'On
My Own'. Natalie wishes to share her endeavours with God and
her family.
RECENT PROJECTS:
Since leaving Les Mis, Natalie formed the group Jackson
Mendoza with her sister Rebecca, entering the charts with
their debut single Venus and Mars. Natalie has recently appeared
in the hit movie, Moulin Rouge (China Doll), and the
made for televison movie of South Pacific (Liat). Natalie
is currently appearing in the Australian premiere of the musical
Oh! What A Night as Cat.
