BIOGRAPHY:

Lara was born in Perth and has studied all facets of dance since she was 3 years old. She attended the W.A Academy of Performing Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. Her favourite roles at the Academy were Mrs. Yabsley in Jonah and Mrs. Peachum in Threepenny Opera. Lara's professional engagements have included Los Compost (Cabaret at the Wharf/Pastels Cafe), Snoopy, The Musical (Hole in the Wall Theatre Company), Going Off (Lamplight Theatre), Les Miserrables (Cameron Mackintosh - Asian/South African Tour), and most recently Sweet Charity at the Capitol Theatre. Television credits include Hits & Memories (Channel 7), Murder Call (Channel 9) and a guest role in After the Beep (ABC). On the 'Big' screen you can catch Lara in Turning April and the Baz Luhrmann hit Strictly Ballroom. Lara would like to thank her family and incredible friends for their constant love and support.
