YVETTE ROBINSON Female Ensemble Fantine understudy

BIOGRAPHY:

Yvette was born in Perth and trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. Whilst at the Academy, Yvette appeared in productions such as The Cradle Will Rock, Jonah, Of Thee I Sing, The Betrothed, The Bridge, Into the Woods as the Baker's Wife, and Company as Kathy. Yvette has also worked for the Music Theatre Company of WA, performing the role of Eliza Doolittle in their successful 1995 season of My Fair Lady and in 1994 playing the Mistress and alternating in the title role of Evita. Yvette was an original cast member of the Australian production of Miss Saigon in which she covered and performed the role of Ellen and she was most recently seen covering and performing the lead role of Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

RECENT PROJECTS:

In 2000, Yvette appeared as one of the Rooney sisters in Jolson.
