BIOGRAPHY:
Troy commenced his theatrical career at the age of eight,
performing in such musicals as Peter Pan and Evita.
His first major role was that of the Artful Dodger in the
Adelaide Festival Centre Trust's Oliver!. Troy was
a member of the Australian Boys' Choir and trained in drama
at the National Theatre Drama School and Deakin University-
Rusden Campus. He began his adult career in 1989 as Feuilly
in the original Australian and New Zealand tour of Les
Miserables. Troy then portrayed the flower child Woof
in the Mystic Crystal Galaxy tour of Hair. He spent
two years as a swing in The Phantom of the Opera, performing
a variety of roles including Monsieur Reyer, Passarino and
the Auctioneer. Troy created the role of the Fakir in the
Australian tour of The Secret Garden and he performed
in Miss Saigon where he also understudied and on selected
performances performed the role of John. Most recently he
was seen in the Melbourne season of Chess. His television
credits include co-starring in the Australian classic Saturdee
and Good Morning Australia. Troy is very happy
to return once more to the exciting world of Les Mis'.
RECENT PROJECTS:
Since leaving Les Mis, Troy appeared in Jolson
and more recently Noises Off.
