SARAH BAKKER Little Cosette

BIOGRAPHY:

Sarah was born with an uncontrollable urge to sing, dance and perform - therefore, at the tender age of three she began her training at The Danceworks Studio and studies ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, drama and singing. Her love of performing has given her opportunities to appear on Brisbane Extra, a television commercial, and modelling in fashion parades. Sarah has participated as a member of The Danceworks Performance Group in shopping centres, charity events, annual concerts, festivals and many dance and drama eisteddfods for which she has won many awards - including Most Outstanding Song and Dance 1998 at Twin Towns Dance Festival. In 1998 Sarah was one of 32 children chosen to perform a special children's ballet choreographed by Francois Klaus, Artistic Director of the Queensland Ballet. Little Step-Little Feet was part of the Queensland Ballet's Dance Day celebrations for the Out of the Box Festival at the Suncorp Piazza. Sarah is a member of the Moorooka State School's Choir and string ensemble, playing the violin. Her other interests include bike riding, reading poetry, playing with computers and swimming. Sarah is very proud to be part of the 10th Anniversary Production of Les Miserables and has no doubt this will always be a treasured memory for her.
