This site aims to provide:
- Information on the 10th anniversary tour of Les Miserables
in Australia and New Zealand.
- Updates on current projects of company members
- An interactive environment for fans of this production
and Les Mis in general to contribute to the site and participate
in discussions.
The planning and initial layout for this site began in 1998,
when it became apparent that there was a lack of web coverage
on the Australian production of Les Miserables. It wasnt
until January 2000, five months after the tour had ended,
that this site was launched for public viewing. Unfortunately
the site has been neglected over the past year, mainly due
to the decision to give it a fresh look and not having the
time to do so!
Removing the site was considered, but after a burst of inspiration
(while working on another project!), this site has been reconstructed
from scratch with a new look and a slightly different URL.
New features have been added to create a more interactive
environment.
Future plans:
Some features that are being considered for the future are:
- Coverage on the Les Magical Miztory Tour charity concert
from 1998.
- A download centre with wallpaper and screensavers.
- Unique electronic postcards.
- An interactive guide to Les Miserables.
- Coverage of guest appearances made by the cast on various
television shows.
Site Requirements:
It is recommended that this site be viewed using:
- Internet Explorer 4.0+
- Screen Resolution 800 x 600 minimum.
- Javascript, CSS and images enabled.
This site can be viewed in most javascript capable browsers.
However, Internet Explorer 5.0+ is recommended due to the
extensive use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) which, unfortunately,
will only display correctly in IE or Netscape 6.0+.
Navigation Tips:
The primary navigation can be found under the site title
graphic at the top of each page (with the exception of articles
and photo gallery pages.)
To navigate each section, use the links found in the left-hand
column of the page. Sub-sections of the site may be divided
into smaller pages depending on the amount of information
available. In this case a third set of navigational links
is provided as either text links or a jump menu
(requires javascript).
Apart from the primary navigation, all links will appear
in this colour. In IE
and Netscape 6+, links will change to black when you mouse
over them.
